HULL MAXX™️ HOTCOATING PROCESS
Due to the fact that it is quite expensive to remove traditional bottom paint and in the process the underlying gel coat may be damager, an option if you want to use Hull Maxx™️ is to just leave it on. You sand the hull as you do to recoat with bottom paint. You then roll one coat of Hull Maxx™️ over a fresh coat of bottom paint while it is still tacky and it locks it in as it dries. You get all the benefits of Hull Maxx™️ (ease of cleaning, speed improvement and fuel savings) but obviously not the amazing aestetics; hovever, as Hull Maxx™️ has a- sheen and acts as a barrier coat, it will protect the new coat of antifouling under it and keep it from deteriorating in color which it does quite rapidly. For a more thorough discussion of the hot coating process, please view the YouTube video posted as Hot Coating Hull Maxx™️ Install! Crazy how easy it is! and DM us if you have any questions about how Hull Maxx™️ can be benefical to you.
